1 wee****il surgery
I found the pre-op diet to be the hardest part. But it is brief. Hang in there and keep your eyes on the future. You are going to be so much healthier, and have more energy, and buy clothes at regular stores. It is so worth it. Once you've had the surgery, you have the restriction and the physiological changes to help.
best of luck,
Carol

I am 1 week away from my surgery also (6/2). I've been on my pre op diet for 1 week now. I keep telling myself " you got this" and I just push through. If I get that hunger feeling I start doing something to get my mind off of it. Good luck to you!

My surgery is in one week also (6/3). I'm on day 3 of the pre-op diet and doing ok so far. I found myself starting to get a headache this morning, so I took some Excedrin. The biggest issue is not being able to poop, lol.
What's helping he is to avoid eating situations as much as possible. It's usually really important to me that my family eat dinner together, but I just can't sit with them at the table while they're eating a nice meal. Keep in mind that this is temporary. Just take it one day/ one protein shake at a time. Good luck!
