How soon do you have to worry about smaller clothes?

Well when your pants fall off its time to worry.  Most of us had a few things around that were too tight but we held on to.  I don't dress up much - work in a clay studio - so sweats and t shirts are good. Any more you can get some decent looking stuff at Ross' or Marshals and such or even k mart and costco.   gl.  diane
