13 days post-op....25lbs lost-although on clear liquids who would'nt :)
Little update- doing so much better. I have energy, I decided that if my mental attitude change my body will have to follow
- 1st Doc's visit went well, had my post-op class, reinforcing the rules and diet and the temporary phases and their importance
- lost 25lbs (only found out at the doctors, not trying to weigh myself daily or I will go nuts. I decided that weekly will be my thing)
- went back to work on tuesday-I'm a nurse on a super busy floor so no lifting or pushing for me, but still busy enough that I can't even dwell on food. Although i do have a reminded on my phone for water, since it's so much easier to drink water I make sure to have 1 watter bottle every 2 hours (which takes me an 1 hr to drink anyway)
- looking forward to my pureed phase, which starts tomorrow
so many recipes just building in my head from this website and others and my own: have been craving avocado so a nice modified guacamole will taste delicious
- feeling good about my decision of choosing a healthier life and getting the tool that will help me achieve my goals if used correctly
What a delightful post! I am so happy for you. You are doing great. And 25 pounds in 3 weeks is excellent!
best wishes,
Carol

Brava! I feel ya on the clear liquids diet. I am post-op day 4 and I am already sick of Isopure. I have to cut it with Crystal Light or I can't get it down. I am trying to get 75 G pf protein in, but in this phase seems impossible. Congrats on making it through the liquid phase.
