Tips to stop mindless eating
Very good article Kairk. Number 4 has been especially good to me -- decreasing variety, or what they refer to as "sensory-specific satiety."
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

The article has some great tips... they are from Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think, by Brian Wansink, Ph.D.... he is one of the speakers at this year's Your Weight Matters National Convention.... the event the OAC www.YWMConvention.com hosts being held in August.
I hope to meet some OHers there.
4 (decrease variety), 6 (increase inconvenience) and 12 (do not stockpile) are the biggest for me. if i can manage those, the rest becomes more manageable.
