8 week post op Check-In
Well done!
It's weird, right? I can't see it on myself either, even from last year's weight... (85 lbs higher), except in my face compared to Driver's License(which is even 117 lbs higher...).
I logically know I'm losing--the scale keeps going down, my favorite comfy PJ pants actually fell off me the other day....
But there's still a voice in my head that says:
The scale is broken.
You've stretched those pants out beyond saving.

Program Start Weight 346 | Surgery Weight 282 | CW 217 | 5'-6.3"
High Weight 376, about a year before program. I gave up diet pop(and all pop), dropped 30 pounds without trying, and kept it off. Now convinced Carbonated Beverages. Are. Evil.
DISCLAIMER: My posts often have weird typos... Because I use a tablet or Kindle to access the forums despite how much I suck at tablet typing. Apologies!
I still find myself looking in the Plus Size department at stores before I realizing that I can shop in the "regular" sizes. It just takes a while for the brain to catch up with our bodies, but it will happen some day, and when it does, it's awesome!

5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
I so identify with the voice in the head thing. I've changed out the batteries in my scale just to be sure if I was seeing the right #. Ditto on the pants, I kept thinking well I stretched them out, that's why they're loose.
Well at least you're pj's fell off at home, wait till you get to the baggy underwear! lol

awesome job and the sagging underwear is fun in a way. I'm off to Walmart to buy the super pack of the next size down. It would be nice to buy a sexy pair instead of my old granie panties. Soon.. Very soon!

You can't take care of them, if you don't take care of you!!

Awesome!! Keep taking progress pics. It helped me along the way to see the difference from month to month.
