REALLY....and I mean REALLY Bummed!!!!

Ten years ago I was banded. My band was removed in March and I have a planned revision on June 6.......same surgeon, who I'm crazy about. So, today I get a call from his office that he gave notice yesterday that he's leaving the practice and moving to North Carolina. His associate will be performing my surgery and I've not even met her. I'm sure she is terrific, but, I really didn't want to change docs after all these years....and going from New York to North Carolina for an appointment is a "bit" of a trip. I'm 34 days out and not happy about the upheaval.

Oh, that is quite a bummer. I don't have any advice, but just want to send positive thoughts for it to work out.

   Here's hoping that when you meet the surgeon you will be impressed with her and more comfortable with the idea. Good luck
