The dreaded 199
Woah! I woke up this morning to 199 on the scale. Eek - wake up call.
I was in vegas last week where the food choices weren't great. Then on Friday I was called into work to be let go! Eek - stressful weekend to say the least.
I'm running around this week to get things in order and hopefully land a new job. I'm going to try to use this time to be productive and get my food back in order. I have been doing cross fit like a crazy lady the last few months. I know that I have put on some muscle, but I would like to slim out a bit. I want to be at least 10 lbs away from the 200 lb mark!
Back to protein protein protein. I need to say good bye to my love - CARBS :( so sad.
Sorry to hear this - but I feel your pain as well. Eight months of a job that requires me to travel almost every week - all the free food and alcohol one could ever want and I find myself up 10 lbs too. I've already got 2 off though and we have to always be holding ourselves accountable!!
Sorry to hear about the job - hang in there!

Oh, Stacy,
I'm so sorry to hear about the job. That's really frustrating. At least the job market is better lately. Hopefully you'll find something even better soon.
I had to give up carbs about a month ago because the weight was not coming off while I was eating carbs! I also love the carbs, and I repeat the carb cycle over and over again. - eating a few carbs, eating more and more, until I am gaining weight, spend some time in denial until I finally have to admit that I'm addicted again, and then I do the white-knuckle de-tox, lose the weight, and repeat!! so sad!
best wishes,
Carol
