Updated progress pics-5 months
It has been a while since I posted. Hope everyone is well! I've been super busy with daughter's softball and work. I was chosen to take part in a 6 week challenge at a fitness place with personal training. I have to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks which I don't think will be an issue. Let me tell you this. It is like boot camp! In the past I would have never even applied or thought that this was possible for me to do. Today I started week 2 and it is kicking my butt. But it is the best feeling at the end of the workout to know I did it! It wasn't the prettiest workout but I did it! Being only 5 months post op and with two knee replacements I didn't know I had it in me. The first step was the hardest to make but it is part of my new lifestyle. 85 lbs gone forever!
To the newbies! You got this! Is it easy??? NO You have always heard that anything worth having takes hard work. You can do this!! Remember YOU are worth it!
You look awesome and I'm so glad you feel good too. I'm almost 3 months out (2 more weeks) - I'm down 50 pounds. amazes me that I'm down that much. My daughter graduates in 2 months and I'd like to be below wonderland. (That's almost 30 more pounds) - so I need to pick up the workouts a little. Best of luck with your boot camp. "You got this". Kris
