VSG an hour away-love some support!
Hi everyone,
I'm in the waiting room at the hospital expecting to go in on about an hour...trying to calm my nerves. Excited but weak, tired and spent all morning wrestling with my emotions. Odd, the one thing that pulled me together was that quote by Woody Allen, "90% of success is just showing up." How many times haven't I shown up because of this weight? So sick and tired of it. I have so much to do and accomplish. So here I am. I made to this point and I will make it to the next.
But, for now I can use all the support I can get! I'm a nervous, very thirsty, light headed wreck who found her ounce of courage. :)
It might be too late, but if not, good luck! You will be great! No matter how you feel afterwards, if you are sick or not, you will be so happy once you start dropping the pounds. You made it this far, this is only the beginning. You got this!
Age: 34 / Height 5' 8" / Starting weight July 2015: 446.0 lbs / Surgery Date & Weight: 1/19/16 - 320.4 / Lost pre-op: 125.6lbs / Goal Weight: 180 lbs
Never too late! Such a beautiful thing to be recovering (all went well) and see these messages. Thank you so much for the support!
