I had them starting the first night Monday but I can't remember having them during the weekend. So about 5 days. I had them mostly at night.
Here's my two tips to get them to settle. Take a few deep breaths. Get up and walk around your house a bit.
For me they also lessened some each day with night 2&3 being a bit hard as it'd wake me up.

Oh one more... I did chew up a single tums if they were not responding to the deep breathing or walking. I'm on pepsid but per the husbands distressed plea I tried a tums and I don't know if it helped but between the three I could always get them to settle down.
