All of the little signs...

I'm on the path to get sleeved May 6th... I still have to meet the surgeon on Apr 26th for my consult. I guess theyre assuming insurance will approve in time for May 6th? Plus I have to tell my job and go on short term leave... anyway...

Whenever I get the jitters, and I wonder if going thru major surgery is the right decision...I read through all of your posts. Nearly all of them talk about and celebrate all of the great things that I want for myself... being able to exercise,  have energy, feel good about myself...be healthy.

Yesterday I brought my daughter for a pedicure because she was going to her 1st sleepover and they have a hottub... I sat in the little chair when you dry your feet...I truly believed I was going to crash to the floor! It wobbled and the blood ran out of my face...

Later in the day I had to stop at Macy's to buy summery/vaca pants- (we're going to FL this Thursday for spring break)- I could either squeeze into a 22 charter club capri jeans, or wear loose 24s- so I didnt get either. I did find "style n co" cotton pants/capris size 20W- I was actually psyched about a 20W! I just keep thinking... wont be long now Eileen, wipe your tears away...and I came home to read all of your amazing stories.... it helps A LOT!

I'm the heaviest I've ever been (aside from pregnancies)... I seriously cant wait....

Anyway- sorry for the rambling. I'm just so thankful that chair didnt crash to the ground... and I just kept thinking "wont be long now"...

This is such a moving post.  It reminds me of how far I've come, which was a welcome message today, as my weight jumped up two points due to a high carb day yesterday.  I'm trying to get back on track and I was derailed by a birthday party.

I'm so excited for you, knowing the struggles of being obese, and knowing that there hope in the sleeve.

You'll do great.  I wish you every success on your weight loss journey.

I remember these days well.  Getting on the airplane hoping the person next to me wasn't MO like me.  WLS was the best decision many of us here have ever made.  Good luck to you.  You're right, it won't be long now.
