What cha eating today, VSGers? - Friday
Hi all,
Happy Friday. We just got new floors put in after a month-long construction project due to a frozen and burst pipe while we were away. So the end of the chaos is in sight. They will put the last coat of finish on the floors tomorrow, and the new furniture arrives next Wednesday. (the floors need a few days to dry). I will be so happy to put this behind me.
The diet is going better now that I followed my own advice and cut the carbs!
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - crustless mushroom and bacon quiche - yum
snack - broccoli slaw
Dinner - pesto chicken
another snack (if I need it) mashed cauliflower or more broccoli slaw
vitamins - on track
water - good
exercise - walking
How about you?

Happy Friday to you! Sounds like you had a monsterous project in your home. My project today is working on potty training with my little guy. Ugh!
I have tried shaking cinnamon into my protein shakes and it is a nice little flavor change.

Lunch - Sheppards Pie (ground chicken, peas, green beans, carrots, and corn. Topped with mashed caliuflower and low fat cheese.)
Dinner - Grilled chicken and baked beans

W - almost done
E - walking and free weights
Really struggling, so putting it in print to help boost the motivation to stay clean the remainder of the day. Last two days nothing but crappy carby sugar and minimal protein. No bueno. Today, better so far.
B: Coffee protein shake.
S: Detour smart bar
L: orange chicken and rice
S: premier protein bar
D: High fiber cereal, skim milk
So a 1,000 calories, but hit my protein target minimum. Need to get a couple hundred more calories in- but not of crap food. Probably will make a veggie juice if I am feeling up to it.
