Finished 6month diet last week, got insurance approval in one day, and my surgery is...

I got my insurance approval last week, and my surgery is scheduled for April 25th.  I'v scheduled time off at work, and am excited it all seems to be moving along quickly now.

What insurance do you have if you dont mind me asking?

It's not common - it's called allegiance.  My surgeons office said it was the fastest approval they've had.

Yes! That's so awesome! Congratulations! You just have to make it through whatever your surgeon's pre-op liquid diet is and you'll be there.

I had UHC.  THere was a 6 month supervised diet required,  but they accepted 2 at my primary care and 4 at surgeon.  Approval took a little over 2 weeks after all paperwork was submitted, and I just had the surgery 10 days after scheduled (a couple of days after approval).  It seemed like a long time going through the pre-approval, but sure went fast after!

My surgery is next week and I'm still afraid to let myself get too excited. Like I'm going to jinx it if I do... So I'm going to vicariously enjoy your excitement :)
