Right now I am in southern California, been visiting daughter and her family for a couple of months. This area is called Inland Empire and is a deserty topography with good mountain view out the back over the wall and clear sky views. Yes it was grea****ching the moon come up between two mountains (in the valley of their peaks) .. just glowed like a distant wildfire to begin with and then slowly peaked its' fullness -- slowly cresting to its full magnificent beauty. Very breathtaking to say the least..
