OMG! Surgery in 10 days

So after psyching myself into thinking surgery wouldn't be until June, I received insurance approval on Wednesday and the surgeons office called to schedule surgery on March 28!!!!! My week pre-op diet starts Monday (not too bad to follow), and I have  pre-op testing on Thursday.  Now I get to feel a little nervous (but I'm glad it's going to be now since I've been working on this since October).

My pre-op diet starts Monday too, according to the note I got today. Well, one part of the note said "start 2 weeks pre-op," and there was a sticky that said "start 3-21".... 3-21 gives me 17 days of pre-op diet rather than 14, but I guess I'm doing it. Oy. Gonna be a slog.

Congratulations!  Please post as you go along. I am scheduled for March 29, but my surgeon doesn't require a pre-op diet. 

That's great, you'll enjoy having better weather for getting outside rather than hot ol June. (Texan here) While I'm sure your mind is a bit blown this is great news getting stared sooner.  Try to gather your protein powders and other items needed and focus on clearing out the cabinets.
