wondering how I'm doing...

I hear you on the protein shakes since most programs do require you get your protein from food as soon as you can. It is just surprising that beans and grains are on the menu so early on. Most people who have had success with their sleeve keep carbs under 40g a day. That quickly adds up with carb-dense foods.

It also sounds like your clinic is putting you on grains earlier than normal. Most plans call for introducing some grains about 6 months post-op, and they should always be the last thing eaten. Truth be told, by the time I eat my protein and a little veggies, I'm always too full to have anything else.

they are on the list for 4 weeks post-op.

Agreed about the protein and little veggies :) I do seem to need fiber though - a little goes a long way :)

Hi. I'm six and a half weeks out. Today I ate:

B- protein shake

S- one egg & 1 laughing cow cheese

L- 1/3 cup chili with cheese

D- 2 oz. pork & 1 mozzarella stick

I eat 3 ounces per meal or snack. I usually eat four or five meals a day. I am a revision and I am very happy with my weight loss.
