Successful Doctor's Appointment!
Went in today for my 7 month appointment and everything went really, really well. My weight was 147.5, 2.5 pounds under my doctor's goal for me, but 12.5 pounds from my goal. He was very happy with my lab work also. My cholesterol is way down, from a total cholesterol of 181, to 117. My doc suggests going off of my cholesterol meds, or at least cutting it in half. I went off of my blood pressure meds 2 months after surgery, and the cholesterol med is my last one from my old life. Once I go off of it, I will only be on vitamins and minerals. Never, in a million years, did I think this would happen.
At 59 years old, I am feeling younger than I did when I was in my 20's. Life is wonderful!
5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
