searching for recipie ideas with nutrition info. Lots of stuff on Pinterest, but I am new to the app and I can't find nutrition info for anything on there. What am I doing wrong?

I barely use Pinterest, so perhaps there is a better answer than what I am about to say...   I don't think it is one there. Usually you have to use a tool like myfitnesspal or something, enter the recipe and servings sizes and get it that way. Even then it is just an estimate.

if you use MFP you can use the recipe importer by copying and pasting the recipe link, enter the amount of servings and get stats that way.. most of the recipes I've seen on pinterest didn't have nutritional info. I've just used MFP and tweaked the recipe if need be.

Exactly where do you paste the link. I am new to both apps. Thanks!

on the top bar under "food" you will see "recipes", click that and there will be two options.

import a recipe (copy and paste the link then click import recipe) or manually enter, which you would list all the ingredients used.

Even after importing a recipe you can still change out the ingredients. Choose how many servings and it'll give you the nutritional info.

I'm somewhat of a PINTEREST addict.  I use it to get great recipe ideas for VSG and low carb - but I rely on MyFitnessPal for the nutritional info. The easiest way is to keep it simple- avoid using a ton of ingredients and have a few recipes in rotation for a while - portion them out for lunches and dinner and then try new ones when you get bored. This helps me keep less food in the fridge so there is less temptation.  Both apps have great info.
