Today makes 1 week post surgery and...
I can't believe I actually feel this good... I had surgery on March 3, and was in the hospital until the 5th... While in the hospital I didn't get as much walking in as I thought I would/should have, but the doctors still cut me loose and sent me home...
Since being home, I have struggled with getting a full 60g of Protein, although I average about 50-55... My liquid goal of 60oz is easily obtainable at this point... I am also on puréed foods at this point, which is my Surgeons "Step 2"... I've found a great deal of recipes for this stage on this site...
So as of this morning, which is my first weigh in since surgery morning, I am down a total 22.6lbs, and I feel GREAT!
Great job so far.

The cake is a lie, but Starbucks is not.
Sounds to me like you're doing great. My doctor told me that it was more important to stay hydrated after surgery than to worry too much about how much protein I managed to get in. If you're doing 60 oz of fluids right now, good for you

hey share some of those recipes if you can... always helps to see what other creative things people eat. I had my surgery on 2/10 and feeling great! still a tiny bit tired but nothing to complain about for sure... Happy to be finally losing!
Off the top of my head, 2 I really enjoy are the Riccotta Bake (s/p) from Eggface's blog, and a refried bean dish I found somewhere on here... It's basically non-fat refried beans, taco sauce, FF sour cream and some low fat Mexican shredded cheese blended smooth...
take a look at the Recipe page here and you'll find a bunch!
ADVICE PLEASE!!!! I had my surgery on Monday, 3/7/16 (sleeve, hiatal hernia and gallbladder removal) and sent home on Tuesdayafternoon. I know it's only Thursday, but I can't seem to get over the nausea.... the pain is tolerable, but the nausea isn't... Did you have any nausea? I've been trying to sip my broth and eat the jello,,, but it just makes me feel worse... and it also makes the pain worse to try to eat/drink anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. UGH!!!! I'm miserable!!!! :/
