Hey Guys, I did a search for this but didn't come up with anything really specific other than the usual 'protein drinks, strained soups, Popsicle, etc'.  I'm finding there is a lot of brands and such to choose from with these things, especially online.  Any recommendations on specific items that you either loved or hated during your pre and post op full liquid phase?  I'm going to make sure I stock my pantry!

The best advise I received from my NUT during my post-op was purchasing my favorite soup, which is Progresso. Strain all the noodles and chicken etc. So much flavor than just plain broth! I also had diluted 50/50 apple juice (50% juice and 50% water) and sugar free Crystal Light. Good luck!

Best advise?  Don't stock up on too much of anything!  What you like before surgery you may hate after.  Post op I couldn't stomach sugar free Popsicles (still can't!) because they are too sweet.

Also - be sure to check out Eggface's blog if you haven't already.  She has some great ideas :)

I am 23 days post op and I read a lot about unjury chicken soup flavored protein. It has been a favorite for me. Also Unjury unflavored protein  in Herb ox sodium free bouillon. Both were warm and yummy. Helped get my protein in. Blessings..

Post op I ate a ton of Egg Drop soup. I'm not sure if you're a fan, but for three weeks I loved on it. I would strain the eggs out! I also was a big fan of chocolate premier protein.
