Approved with a date!
Resubmitting the documents resulted in last week's surgery denial becoming an approval!
It's later than I had hoped it would be--still 5 weeks away--but I'll take it! April 14. Which is almost exactly the date in 2015 that I watched the first online seminar to begin this whole thing.
Also the 8 year anniversary of the blood clots that tried to murder me... but we're going to ignore that bit of karmic shannigans! And instead just considering it a full circle. Or two full circles. Or an unnamed number of full circleS so I don't have to try and think about time anymore :)
Thank you, me too!
Though there was much flailing about dramatically last week, lemme tell you! Emotion Rollercoaster. Plus? I was taking steroids last week for freaking bursitis in my hip, and while I don't get the roid-rage, I do get the roid-FLAILFLAILFLAIL. But all better now!
I just need to make the most of the next five weeks to maximize my pre-surgery weightloss, and that means celebrating every hard-won pound. Maybe I'll get to 100 lost from my highest before surgery, if the 2-week pre-op diet and my other efforts for the next three weeks can cut another 14 pounds off me.
That's great. Good luck.
