Slowed weight loss at 4 m- ***updated diet info today***
I went a month without losing any weight at about 6 months post-op. I was eating under 800 calories a day (weighing and tracking all my food religiously, no snacking or anything else) and exercised regularly. It was frustrating and inexplicable, but I kept doing what I was supposed to and then lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Hang in there.

Is it "slowed down" or is it an actual stall (no weight or inch loss)? After the first month, things slow down for EVERYBODY, since our bodies have adjusted to the new plumbing.
If you've lost zero weight in four weeks despite 500 cal/day-- assuming that's 100% accurate-- then it's time for a check-in with the surgeon.

I was cancelled on my 3 month f/u and they tried to re-schedule me but it didn't work with my schedule. I work Monday-Friday 8-5:30pm in a pediatric office. It's really hard to take off. I had my 4 month post op scheduled yesterday. I took off work and had all my stuff scheduled for that day and on my way to the office, I was cancelled because the surgeon had an emergency surgery... I can't take off this month again. It's really getting old being cancelled.
