I do on the daily! I usually have a 10 ounce hot tea every afternoon! Its a nice break from drinking water all day!

You should only be drinking decaf as caf is too hard on the tummy and yes it counts as fluid.  In 4 years I still cannot drink regular caffeinated coffee or tea. Too much acid.
