Just curious, I don't presently have low iron, did just after surgery though.  I understand that the RnY often results in low iron issues down the road and have read that VSG can also result in the same low, but I don't read any posts in this regard on the VSG forum.

So, any sleever low iron suffers out there?

Nope.  Mine was through the roof after surgery.  I stopped taking an iron supplement after three months.

Now my iron and ferritin levels are in the normal range.

I never took iron and my levels were fine until 3.5 yrs out when it suddenly tanked. Probably would have happened regardless of my VSG.

I was low before surgery, and went lower post op. Eventually I found a supplement that brought it back in normal range. (patchmd.com- patch was the multivitamin one.)
