I feel so full I can't even really eat or drink much now. What can I take?

also when can I start adding ground flax meal to my diet? It always helped me pre-op

thanks!

Have you consider trying ducolax its over the counter and seems to work for my sister whom is a GI patient. You could try miralax.  This is something I would definitely talk to your doc about. Good luck

I had the same problem about 2 weeks out. My surgeon said take some milk of magnesia and stay home near the bathroom. One dose and in like 30 minutes it was game on. One dose sent me to the bathroom like 3 times over several hours. TMI I am sure, but it worked. I felt like every meal I had ever ate since birth came out.

I add a half of a capful of Miralax to my protein shake every morning.  I also take Fiber Gummies daily.  It seems to keep things flowing smoothly for me.

Make sure you drink plenty of fluids or the constipation will get even worse.
