Biotin helps hair grow back, but won't keep it from falling out.
Most people see hair loss starting around month 3 or 4. It's very possible that yours hasn't "hit" yet.

My hair loss started at 3-1/2 months.
Biotin worked great for me, if I wanted to have a full facial beard. Did nothing to stop the loss of hair from my head.

I'm with you. I haven't had any hair loss at all, and I'm over 8 months out. Whether it's luck, genetics, the daily biotin, or the 70-100g of protein I've been getting daily since Day 1, post-op, I consider myself lucky and feel the biotin can't be hurting.

I'm with ya! Surgery in early October and my already very thin, sparse hair started falling out about 3 weeks ago. I'm taking biotin and trying to get all my protein in everyday but am just trying not to worry about it. Still take the weight and hair loss over fat and hairy any day!
