AWOL - but here's a cool link about what size we perceive ourselves to be

I've been pretty AWOL.  I can't even remember when I last posted.  My dad's brain cancer came back and he's had to have whole brain radiation and radiation on his thoracic spine where the cancer spread this time.  I've been super busy with school and I'm feeling totally overwhelmed even though this is only the third week of my term.  (I blame intro to anatomy and physiology!)  I'm still learning how to find balance in my life and still lose weight.  I'm working on getting in with a psychiatrist for a binge eating disorder diagnosis. And my partner found a lump on one of his testicles.  That's a quick nutshell of life right now.

But, anyway, check out this link because I think it's pretty awesome.  My perception of myself is off by 22.5%, which I'm sure is better than it was!

Gwen, So sorry to hear the news about your Dad.  I think it's understandable while you have been AWOL.  I'm glad you are still working with a therapist - you were the reason that I secured one prior to my surgery and continue to go today.  Sending much love to you and appreciate you still stopping in and sharing some helpful advice with us - even when you are overwhelmed!

It's a great link.  I need to take my measurements first to enter them on the website.

http://www.mybodygallery.com/  This is a good link too.  I used it a lot when I started losing weight for comparisons.

I was sure I had the right image but am 7.5% smaller than the one I picked.  Great site.

Hang in there Gwen.  I am so glad you decided to stay in school and know how hard all of this is for you.  I hope your partner is OK.  If he has had a vasectomy sometimes a lump forms, just scar tissue.
