POD #1
Well I am officially a sleever! :)
Surgeon said everything went well, there was lots of scar tissue to clean up from my lap band erosion but he was able to make a nice straight sleeve.
I am feeling pretty good. They just gave me water to start sipping on. 1oz med cups and I can have 1 per hour. Although this sounded crazy in my head it definitely took a whole hour to drink one lol. Later I get to progress to other clears, brother and sf popsicles. I have also been up and walked several times.
Had some pain last night, mostly upper abdominal and at the drain site. He allowed me to have iv dilaudid through the night but now switch to iv toradol and Tylenol elixir.
We will see how the rest of today goes! Thanks again everyone for all the support :)
Hey! Welcome to the loser's bench! I am glad to hear all went well, it will only get better from here on out!
