One year surgiversary -- Bleeccchhhhh

One year today since my surgery. I'm in bed with a queasy stomach and pounding headache -- probably from food poisoning. So no celebration for me other than observing the fact that I've lost 113 pounds since last year. By the time this bout of illness is over, it'll probably be 115 or more pounds lost. Not the best way to lose them, but I'll take it!

I'm beginning to feel better and expect to be up and around a bit tomorrow. Maybe then I'll be able to truly appreciate how far I've come from that sad, sick, morbidly obese person I was a year ago.

Happy Surgiversary to me ...  --- The mere image of cake is making me queasy!
