Came as a bit of a shock. Guess I had it in the back of my head that I'd stuff my fave a day or two before the surgery, but no. Okay. And their explanation about shrinking my liver before surgery makes sense. Get those protein shakes ready.

Hello , I am also having my Surgery at Jefferson. My Surgery is scheduled for 02/09/2016 and I am on the liquid diet right now. I hope things go well for you and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the words of support everyone. I have to admit I've been bad the past couple of days...LOL. But I have my protein powder and lots of advice from my nutritionist, and obviously right here.
