My surgery is getting closer and closer and I am so nervous!
So, I have one more appointment (the 19th of FEB) for the "supervised weight loss" that my insurance required me to do and then I get my surgery date. This has been a looooong process but worth the wait (I hope).
As it gets closer, I am getting really nervous.
I am so looking forward to the change, but also scared, I am currently 267lbs, My goal weight is 160, Is that realistic or am I being too optimistic? Somebody give me some advice please!!
My surgeon is Dr. Caban in Ocala, FL.
Unless you're 7 feet tall, it seems like a realistic goal.

First of all it's normal to be nervous! Secondly you will be okay, look at how far you've come and what you've already accomplished. And thirdly I think it's a realistic goal. But I started at 323lbs (298lbs on day of surgery) and I want to be 150lbs by two years out and my surgeon and dietitian think it's realistic if I stick to plan and exercise. The sleeve is a tool and if you work it it will work for you. Good luck and keep posting, let us know when your surgery is scheduled. :)
I thought I was 5'9 but last time I went to the DR they told me 5'8, Im only 23 and have already lost an inch! Oh boy lol
