If not a UTI it could be a stone (I've had them a dozen or so times before my VSG) they suck, it burns when you pee and there is blood in your urine. I hope you are okay.

I always have some blood with a UTI, which it does sound like you have. And yes, UTIs can be caused by dehydration. You need to start drinking as much liquid as you can, at least 32 ounces every hour, which will help reduce the blood and burning, until you can get to your doctor for a test and probably a course of antibiotics. UTIs by themselves are not that dangerous, but it's just a short step from a UTI to an outright kidney infection.
Start drink, drink, drinking. You must get better about getting liquids in, or you may get wind up with chronic UTIs -- not fun, not fun at all. You may not have had problems with low liquid intake before, but you have problems now.
