just wait it out- unless you suspect low blood sugar. Then you would in that situation need a little carbs, but run it by your doc.

You need to rest! Your body is recovering and the cause of you feeling weak. It's not the calories, you got plenty to burn. But when I felt weak, drinking low sodium broth always made me feel better.

It gets better, get all your water and liquids in. After surgery I was able to eat sugar free pudding, jello, sugar free popscicles and I lived on strained egg drop soup. I walked a ton! 8 days post surgery I spent an entire day tailgating and at a football game with high energy. It returns. I promise you that!

It takes more than a week to recover from this surgery.  For many, it takes several weeks...like 4-8 weeks, so sit your butt down for a bit and allow your body a chance to heal.  You also want to be drinking as much as possible to keep hydrated (dehydration also causes fatigue).  64oz is your daily goal, and it feels nearly impossible, but don't believe it.
