what cha eating today, VSGers? - Saturday
Hi All,
I couldn't wait to post today because the two chicken dishes I made yesterday turned out sooo good. It wonderful that I can eat so healthy and have foods I enjoy this much!
I posted the crock post chicken salsa verde recipe on the recipe forum. Here's a link. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/recipe/5449600/4-ingredien t-salsa-verde-chicken-easy-and-tasty/
I posted the chicken lazone recipe there a while ago. If you search for "lazone" in the recipe forum, it'll come up.
Did I mention, I love my sleeve?
Breakfast - salsa chicken
Lunch - stuffed green peppers
Dinner - last serving of the buffalo chicken with wheat thins.
snack - chicken lazone
water - good
vitamins - on track
exercise - I've been walking indoors - making circles around the living room/entry hall/kitchen while listening to talk radio! Strange, but it works for me!
Happy weekend, everyone.
Carol

Yup, we've been walking indoors before and since surgery every day. No excuses people - it works and you never have to worry about the weather.
Meals today -- I've been eating portions of a grilled chicken skillet all day (minus the hash browns) - it has grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, 2 scrambled eggs and cheese - I've split it into 3 portions and had 1/2 a slice of multi-grain toast

I took a Klonopin last night to get some sleep 'cause my lower back has been acting up (though nothing like in the high-weight days). Because I've lost more than 2/3 of my excess weight, that pill hit me like a freight train. I was groggy all day today and a little depressed (a very dangerous state for me to be in, food-wise), but I did okay, mostly because there was absolutely nothing junky to eat in our apartment. If there had been, I'd have sucked it up.
B: Nothing. Never woke up till 10am.
L: Roast chicken breast
D: Tuna tartare, slice bread w/olive oil, black coffee
S: Coffee w/almond milk
Water: So-so
Vitamins: No. Never thought about them till now.
E: Walked 1 mile to restaurant, picked up some groceries and walked 1 mile back with the bags.
Coulda been a lot worse.
Edited to add: 2 scrambled eggs at lunch. Still a bit groggy!
