Not sure if you will be able to tolerate it but my favourite is

Cucumber slices

Light cream cheese

a small piece of thinnly sliced smoked salmon placed on top

Sounds great, but too soon, I'm afraid. I'll save it for later consideration though, thanks!

Humus and veggies is a great idea.  I usually make low carb meat balls, and then have a BBQ sauce to dip them in.  So I can eat them low carb, and others can have the sauce.  I post a recipe for low carb meat balls on the recipe forum named "Lauries low carb meat balls."  They are made with beef and pork and are quite nice even without sauce.

best wishes,

Carol

A nice cheese tray is always good. Just cheeses, no crackers. Even early out, you can literally let the cheese melt in your mouth, and you'll have no issues.

Lots of good ideas here. My favorite thing to take is a basket of the cheese crisps made on the paper plates in the microwave. See Cafe Frisco for recipe.  They are easy to make and other people love them.  I am always asked to bring these when our social group has events.  diane s
