NSV of HEALTH!
I had blood work done about a month ago. I received the dreaded call of "the doctor wants to see you regarding your blood work results..." during the holidays and today was that appointment.
My THYROID function is now normal.
My BAD CHOLESTEROL is now normal.
My LIVER ENZYMES are now normal.
The list of "normal" results goes on! I cannot believe what a difference in such a short amount of time (and weight, really)! This is the FIRST time in my adult life that my liver enzymes have not been extremely high. I've even had to go for ultrasounds on it before because the counts were so high. Of course, the ultrasound only confirmed what I knew was a fatty liver. NOT ANYMORE!!!
I was anxious about this appointment thinking there was something new wrong...I'm so happy and relieved that, that was not the case and instead it was GOOD NEWS!
I do have to add 2000 units of vitamin D to my diet and he called in a prescription for folic acid for me to take for 3 months and I'm still working on my "good" cholesterol but that stuff I can deal with!!
I love my sleeve more and more each day.

As wonderful as improved appearance and self-confidence are, by far the best NSVs are the tremendous health improvements that result from sleeve surgery and hard work.
So VERY happy for you!!
