Hi all,

I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying the winter weather.  In New England, we've been lucky - not much snow - lots of rain.  And today we have a dusting of snow but it is windy!  So I'm going to cuddle up with a book and a cup of tea! (the joys of being retired.)

Breakfast - stuffed green peppers  (ran out of salmon -  )

Lunch - crustless cheeseburger quiche

dinner - buffalo chicken

snack - green bean casserole

vitamins - like clockwork!

water - ok

exercise - still trying to keep my fitbit steps/day between 6,000 and 8,000.  I don't know how people get over 10,000! - and much higher!  I'm impressed.

So what cha eating today?

Pretty good day. Trying to endure the severe winter weather here in Nicaragua.

B: Fresh fruit, almond milk

L: Scrambled eggs, fresh papaya

D: Hard-cooked egg, small side of spaghetti, papaya

W&V: On track

E: 3-mile walk; 15-minute swim

Cappy, I found with walking that the slower I walk, the farther I can go. If I try to go too fast, I tire out before I can accumulate many steps on the fitbit. The heat here is also keeping me from increasing my rate -- I would melt trying to get an aerobic affect going. My swim is more vigorous and easier on my joints.

thanks for the suggestion. But I find not that I run out of stamina.  I get bored.  So I walk fast, and do as much as I can in the time I walk.  I listen to the radio while I walk and that helps... but I still get bored...

I'm leaving for Australia in a little less than 2 weeks, and I can't wait to be in the heat.

best wishes,

Carol

Struggle bus today. Due to surgery, I can't eat during school hours- just stick to 1 isopure and try to get 1 shake down. Can't eat much too, so try to make it to 1200 cals by bedtime. Tonight, a parent decided to come an hour late to pick up there cutie from the club I sponsor after school, so now not enough time to try to up the cals. Ugh.

Isopure- 1 bottle

Click 1 shake

Chicken 3 ounces or so (no fat, ground, seasoned)

Hoping to get a little yogurt down before bed
