Questions to ask my surgeon!

I have a new insurance (BCBS) and I meet my new surgeon (Dr. Taylor) on Jan 13th.
I already have a couple questions to ask him when I see him but I want to know, what are some questions to ask my surgeon?

- What symptoms indicate something is wrong and should cause me to call in.
- what are the symptoms of dehydration that I should watch for.
