Hunger

Congratulations Cathy on your decision to have surgery! I was hungry just before surgery and about 3-4 weeks after surgery. But, once I was able to start eating protein and more solid foods my new sleeve kicked in and started doing its job. I'm now 13 months post op and still have very good restriction and now I need to force myself to eat 3 meals per day. Keep in mind that every one has a different journey experience. I do know that this will be the best thing you've ever done for your health! Good luck. Christine

I'm wondering why you are experiencing constant hunger.  Have you cut out all white carbs and sugar?  If not, this is probably why you are hungry.  Also, are you drinking a minimum of 64ozs of water daily?  I usually drank a minimum of 100ozs of water daily.

I was a revision so maybe thats why,  but I still get hungry. Not as hungry as before but it is still there. 

Lapband 6/08 90 pounds lost!  Band slip and esophageal dilation diagnosed 5/15

LapBand removed, hernia repaired and sleeved 7/8/15

Thank you for telling me your story. I have a co-worker that had the lap band that made her sick and had it taken out. She did not have anything else done and she has gained her weight back.
