CPAP Question.
i am just almost four weeks post surgery. I have however lost about 50 from surgery date already which is way more than I thought possible. My mouth and throat have been way dryer at night than it has ever been and I wake up with a little of a bloated feeling. My CPAP feels like a ton of extra air is being delivered. I wash wondering if anyone had a similar issue and if so does lowering the air help? I don't feel I am ready to do away with the machine yet.
thank you for any help.
With that much weight lost, you could certainly need the machine adjusted.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
With some of the newer machines you can program a wide range of settings. (Like 4 to 12) If you use less the machine delivers / senses that you need less. I had too much blowing out my mouth so I had it adjusted down. I still use it every night and even if I take a nap but just needed less pressure.
