Good luck man, I am 5 weeks out from surgery today and I feel great, the first week or so after surgery wa**** or miss, but you'll get past it and be on the way to the whole new you. Good luck.

I made it through the surgery in one piece! Thanks so much for all the thoughts and encouragement everyone.

The first day after surgery was very tough to begin with due to all the trapped gas pain and subsequent nausea. The more I walk, the better I feel however. I should be heading home today if everything checks out during my meeting with the surgeon. Thanks again!

Yeah, the first day or two sucked. It passes by pretty quick though. Every day gets a little better.

6'3" tall, male.
