Whatcha Eating Today VSGers?? Tuesday
I plan on working on food prep today since I have off. I've been making breakfast burritos out of leftover meat, cheese, and veggies and wrapped in low carb tortillas. They've been great to give me energy at work on the go!
I'm also going to make chicken and hummus bowls with roasted red pepper for lunches.
B: coffee with fairlife whole milk, syntrax lemonade
L: taco breakfast burrito
S: dannon light n fit Greek yogurt
D: chicken or steak with roasted veggies
I'm still stuck on the 2 week puree period (ugh), but yesterday I had
Breakfast: Protein shake with skim milk
Lunch: Cottage Cheese
Dinner: Puree'd baked chicken breast, this was the first time I'd had meat since the surgery so it was great even though it was blenderized
Snack:
Water, on track, vitamins on track
Exercise: 30 minutes walking on treadmill
I find it really hopeful seeing I'll actually be able to eat good food again after I'm healed up, these weeks of mashed stuff and protein shakes have been awful.
