Life After VSG
Enjoyed reading about your success. I have cycled for about 15 years. I used to do the century a month. I used to do 3-5 state rides that are a week long. I was a turtle. I was a tourer. Tourers always have belly fat (from stopping at the donut shop) whereas the racers (you) have flat tummies. I know the effort the 12 and 24 hour races require, and I admire your hard work.

Looks like your getting close to being a lightweight - you'll be able to fly up hills at your goal weight!

Are you still doing the Orange Theory workouts? I hired a personal trainer to come to the apartment building where we live, and that's worked out pretty well. After not doing anything upper body, just cycling, since VSG I noticed quick weight gain as I added some muscle mass. Having a DeXA scan next week to make sure I'm not also packing on any fat.
