One year surgiversary! 171.5 lbs lost since surgery! pic! long!
Congrats on a great year !!!
Loved reading your post and the one prior !!!
Your WL to goal is way beyond impressive and I also can see that you really "get it" and have a great start on long term foundation building !!!
Take what you have learned this first year and reset with much more knowledge and vigor than when you started this thing a year ago !!!
Keep up the great work !!!

Thank you!
I love the idea of resetting for year two.
I have been trying to collect as much knowledge as possible, but have been neglecting vigor! I'll get on that!

Thank you so much for popping in! It is a huge encouragement and such an inspiration. I just breezed thru a few of your past posts -- love your VSG vibe. You go, yogi!

hmmm, I'm having a posting issue....let's try again!
As I was saying, our starting stats are very similiar. My weight at the start of the 6 month nutrition appointments was 361. You are going to have a fabulous year!

Truly inspirational!!! Thank you for the great post! Congrats on your results and great attitude!! I actually asked hubby for a membership to the yoga studio down the road for Xmas!
What a great Christmas gift!
You are going to be yoga shopping! I don't look at the dollars too closely because I don't really want to know. But, I think most of my saved food dollars have gone directly into yoga: membership, clothing (I tolerate loose everything else but yoga stuff has to fit!) and other assorted stuff that I don't technically need.
You have done yoga before? I never had so I didn't realize there is such variation in studio/class styles and how the heat (or lack of heat) affects me. Such an overall joyful learning experience. Have fun!

I have been on here for years, and you are the first poster I have seen to calculate your percentages like that! I am going to go back through to calculate mine! What a fantastic way to "see" that even if the pounds are a little less per month the percentages continue to hold. Interesting!
You look absolutely fantastic! I do think that you look like you are at goal personally, but please know I do not mean that in any type of a judgemental tone. You are trim for sure. I know when I hit goal it took a abdominoplasty to really "feel" like I was there due to the excess skin issues.
I love that you are totally into yoga! I have been wanting to try it for some time, and eventually once the surgeries stop (reconstructive post bilateral mastectomy) I will begin classes.
I also find the way your family adjusted interesting, and I applaud your willpower. On my end it took my girls convincing my hubby that nobody wanted to eat the high fat meals but him, and then coupled that with his fear of my dying from eating the wrong thing early out. It changed the way all of our meals were prepared, but we all enjoyed it so much more. Had they instead gone for the fast food options, Sams casserole, etc. I am pretty sure I would have never met goal. I think consequently it shows your high level of committment and ability to really navigate this process. I am just impressed!
Congratulations on your 1 year- fantastic work!
