Two Months Post-Op!
Thank you for this inspiring post! I could relate to so much of your struggle. My high weight was 388 pounds, and I shared a lot of your feelings of shame.
I'm glad you commented on the will power issue. After seeing the effects of the surgery on my body and my ability to maintain my weight, I am certain that obesity is not about will power at all. Its physiological. I've lost 225 pounds in 18 months, and maintained at a normal weight for over a year, and I am the same person who got to 385 pounds. And I tried equally hard to overcome the obesity before surgery. The surgery made it possible!
Congratulations on your success. I know you will do great with the weight loss process because you have a great attitude!

Congrats on your success so far! I too was sleeved recently (9/21/15) and have now lost 50 pounds. I didn't lose very much during my 6 months insurance waiting period (only about 6 pounds) so the fact you lost 53 during that time meant you had conquered many of your demons before you got the new tool. Keep up the good work -- you look wonderful!
