Had my surgery on Wednesday. That first day wasn't much fun, but by that evening I couldn't  believe how good I felt. The only trouble I've had was a little nausea when drinking cold liquids. I switched to semi hot and I'm getting in all my fluids. I tried to use zofran for nausea but it makes me gag. I called my surgeons office but they said since I'm doing ok today the nausea is probably over, I hope so nausea is worse than the tiny amount of pain that I have.

Glad the worst is over and you're on your way to full recovery. Hang on the Zofran, though. It may come in handy in the weeks ahead.

Congratulations! And good for you, figuring out how to get your fluids in. Be prepared though, sometimes cold is better, alternating back to hot. It takes a while for our tastes to settle down.
