Nausea after eating

I have been having some nausea after eating. It didn't start until about 3 months after surgery. It will come on 5-15 minutes after I eat and may intensify until I vomit or it may go away with no further issues in about 15 minutes. It doesn't seem to be triggered by any particular food type other than it doesn't seem to happen on liquids or soft foods like yogurt.

I suspect that I may need to adjust stomach acid meds. I take one pepcid every 12 hours but sometimes forget to take my evening dose.

Anyone else have a similar issue and get it resolved?

It does sound like acid. Maybe your doctor could add something that works well with Pepcid. Barfing that much is no fun.

If you're vomiting on a regular basis, that's not normal. Please check with your surgeon.
