Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Tuesday
Good morning! I stuck to my plan yesterday and didn't have a single bite that wasn't part of a meal. My plan says no snacking and I still struggle with that daily. But, tomorrow we leave and Thursday we'll be in Vegas and I've lost 4 of the 7 pounds I gained in the last month or so, so I'm very happy about that. This is where I've been...I'm 143 and my goal is to maintain between 140 and 145, so I'm good. :-)
B: leftover pork, a roasted green chili and a scrambled egg
L: leftover turkey Mexican casserole and some nuts

E: no time today with laundry and packing!

Good going sticking to your plan and losing 4 pounds. I know that's hard work. Bravo! do you have a recipe for the Mexican casserole? it sounds wonderful.
I'm hanging steady at about 162, which is a good weight for me.

Lunch - crustless mushroom quiche
Dinner - chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes - yum.

exercise - recumbent bike - or cleaning out the basement if I can get organized...

I got the recipe here http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com but I didn't follow it exactly. I added some diced jalapeños to my turkey mixture. I didn't use cottage cheese because I don't like it, but instead I used ricotta and some cream cheese and I mixed some shredded cheddar in too. It was a post a couple of days ago.
Its so hard not to snack! I found a goat cheese that I love and I could snack on it all day!

D: Leftover crack slaw, so much better leftover with added Sriracha and Amino Liquids, I made it too bland because of my Irish taste buds and because my mom and son were sharing. My son liked the leftovers with the extra spice much better than the initial batch.

E - Going down to see my brother's new puppy, so puppy and kid play time. It counts!

I'm trying to eat more carbs so I'm not so cranky.

We leave for Laguna Beach tomorrow, so I will be taking snacks with me. Our stay includes dinner, but I won't let that get to me. My husband is more than happy to share a meal with me, to help me stay on track.
