Revision on 11/24/15

Had my band removed Tuesday and came home Thursday.  Have had a fair amount of nausea, I think it's better today.  Doc wanted me to stay 1 more day get the nausea under control but I just wanted to come home.  The incision where my port was is really sore.  I hope as each day passes I'll be better.  I'm starting protein shakes today and trying to keep hydrated.  I hope I made the right choice!

You'll do just great hon! The first few weeks are like after any surgery you feel petty rough for awhile but it will get better each and every day!! It'll be so much nicer to live with than the band! Just rest up and get to know your new tummy.

I had the revision too. The band is a useless piece of junk, IMO. You'll find the sleeve to be an excellent partner in your weight loss efforts. You made the right choice. The recovery period has just started for you. It's usual to feel like death warmed over for a few weeks. Just take each day as you find it and do your best. You will recover. Keep working on those liquids.
