I am such a coffee addict, UGH!!!
Today I have an ultrasound scheduled at 2:30 to check the gallbladder to see if that is contributing to the eating issues that have been occurring as of late. Not a big deal at all, but no food or drink 6 hours prior. I can totally handle not eating. But DAMN, I want coffee!! I am so bad that instead of sleeping in this morning (and I was tired!) I got up to make sure I could have coffee before the clock said I couldn't anymore. I really need to go distract myself- 2.5 hours more to go! I need to go to Coffee Addicts Anonymous if such a thing existed! (And no, it is not due to caffiene- I drink decaf!)

Coffee is an important pleasure of life for me. I'm not giving it up! There are few things that taste so good and don't make us fat! Enjoy it!
Coffee addicts unite! hehehe

The first 6 months of no coffee nearly did me in. I hear you, girl!
P.S. I just had a gallbladder ultrasound, then a HIDA scan as well. All negative. I hope you find out what's been ailing you. Good luck.

Thank you. I am not terribly confident that this is the issue, but given my history I am all for ruling everything and anything out :P At least it was a super easy test, very close to my house, no wait, able to schedule it on a day off, etc. Not often all of that goodness happens so I am grateful!

Dang, I feel for ya! B4 I do anything I go for my coffee. I've actually started to buy coffee beans a coffee grinder & an air tight canister to hold it in, that's how I've gotten to be lately, even bought a Keurig for work cuz one day I was there & all I could think about was all this coffee I had in the house & nothing at work. I'm not the only coffee lover, my co worker bought in an expresso machine! Yeah we take our coffee seriously here. Hope everything turns out ok, & savor that 1st cup! Aahhh

Yep, I am right there with you. The grinder and airtight containers came years ago. (Yes, plural- different sized containers for different blends.) Then I bought a Keurig for work, and loved it. Then a Keurig at home. Then upgrade the home Keurig. Then decided I couldn't deal with the crappy Keurig quality of coffee and bought a Nespresso and a frother- now I am in heaven! It is an expensive ticket to get there though- those darn Nespresso pods are pricey. I had to give up my monthly Starbucks budget to offset the extra cost, but totally worth it!

I am a latte drinker too. During my weight loss phase I used flax milk- only 20 or 25 calories for 8 ounces (can't remember which but I can look up the brand for you if it helps). I had no issue with taking in 25 calories for the calcium that came along with it. Even if I "binged" (which I do at times with lattes) I still couldn't do that much damage. I now use unsweetened vanilla almond milk at 30 cals per 8 ounces, and it does make a better latte.

Mine as well. I have one of the administrators in my building that absolutely can't stand it when teachers drink coffee. I swear I am the only one she doesn't give a hard time about it to. Sometimes people can just tell not to poke the bear I guess!
